FHBA February Breakfast Meeting Recap

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the FHBA Breakfast Meeting this morning! We had a great turnout, strong conversations, and a valuable presentation on business fraud prevention from LMCU’s Katey Morse.

Katey covered the growing threat of Business Email Compromise (BEC) and other fraud schemes targeting businesses today. Attendees learned:

  • The most common types of fraud affecting businesses

  • What warning signs to look for

  • Important questions to ask your financial institution

  • Practical internal controls to strengthen your defenses

  • Steps your business can take right now to reduce risk

This was an incredibly relevant and timely topic, and we’re grateful to Katey for sharing her expertise.

A huge thank‑you to LMCU for hosting us at their Glenwood Hills location and for providing a great breakfast to start the day.

We loved seeing everyone connect, network, and support one another. FHBA continues to grow because of members like you who show up, participate, and invest in our community.

We look forward to seeing you at our next event!
